I’m so grateful to have this gem of a venue on my doorstep here in Epping. It’s a gorgeously romantic space to celebrate in and stay at with your nearest and dearest. With no minimum guest numbers, it’s also perfect for intimate weddings.
The Barns at Lodge Farm, Nazeing
This is a family farm and family run venue. The team at Lodge Farm have worked tirelessly to create a really special place here, and I’m really proud to be one of their recommended suppliers. There are five spaces available here, to cater to all tastes: from boho luxury in The Field (perfect for teepees), to industrial chic in The Grain Store and rustic elegance in The Granary.

Nestled in the grounds of Blake Hall is a network of amazing barns. Beautifully restored with stunning beams and the most incredible, dramatic windows, you can say your vows in The Hay Barn, then move across the grounds to the splendour of The Essex Barn for dinner and dancing.
Mulberry House, Ongar
One of the many things to love about Mulberry House is the permanent marquee and private decking area in the grounds. Perfect for an al fresco dinner and dancing under the stars!
Old Brook Barn, Navestock
A majestic 17th century barn that has been sensitively modernised and restored with decking areas, large windows and verandas to maximise the sunlight. I love the brook that runs through this venue’s grounds, and the willow trees on its banks.

The sheer size of this Georgian manor and its adjoining acres of Deer Park is astonishing. There’s a range of gorgeous ceremony and reception room options, and Parklands Quendon Hall can cater from anything between 40 and 500 guests!
Hedingham Castle, Halstead
This 900-year-old Norman castle needs no introduction, really. It is utterly splendid – a place made for fairy tales!

I love Stationer’s Hall! It’s got that special blend of history, tradition and warmth (and it’s full of lovely memories for me as it’s where my husband and I chose to get married!). The House here feels like a stunning Italian villa – the domed saloon is particularly breath taking. There’s also a 19th Century glasshouse which catches the light no matter how many clouds are in the sky, and 65 acres of amazing gardens to wander through. Space and splendour, just minutes walk from Chiswick tube.

All of Drake and Morgan’s venues across London have their own quirky character, but Devonshire Terrace – a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street – is my favourite.
